今天又有不好的消息传来，北京的李先生在选择借卵方的过程中，再次遭受打击，一个宾夕法尼亚大学的高材生本来都说好了可以开始借卵了，李先生和美国借卵中介公司合同都签署了，但是不想这个女孩子最近看到一份在时代周刊上的报道，说什么试管婴儿药物刺激卵巢，可能产生各种过度刺激症状严重导致从此不孕等等。。。但是试管婴儿技术至今发展了37年，就算有有个别案例是过度刺激综合症但是也能在短期恢复啊。。没有想到现在90后的女孩子都这么脆弱啊。

她退出后还给李先生和她太太发来了以下邮件，以表安慰，到底是名牌大学的高材生，文笔不错，但就是意志品格不够坚强，太谨小慎微了吧。

英文信件的原件如下：

Dear Couple,

The egg donation process is a life-changing event that carries great risks and rewards. I thought I was ready to move forward, but after much consideration I regretfully have to tell you that I am not ready. 

In the majority of instances, the egg retrieval is a relatively painless procedure with side effects including mood swings, abdominal pain and fainting. The medical procedure can, however, in rare instances lead to further complications and potential future infertility in donors. Unfortunately, that is a risk [no matter how small] that I am unable to take at this stage in my life. 

As such, I will not be moving forward with the process. I am sorry for any trouble that I may have caused, and hope that you will understand my decision. I feel so terrible, but I am afraid to move forward. I want to have a family of my own one day. Moving forward, I wish you the best of luck finding an egg donor who will be able to assist you.
